Chicago is bustling with comedy updates and an increasing number of shows every day. LAFS is trying to keep up, however, we need some assistance. LAFS is looking for contributing authors, sketch/improv show reviewers and a Social Media Coordinator. Continue reading for details.
LAFS is looking to expand, however, in order to do that, we need more hands on deck. We also need to make sure we are serving the community as best as possible, so let’s get some more voices in the mix to extend our reach. LAFS is looking to build a team of contributing authors, show reviewers and a Social Media Coordinator. As LAFS is currently a non-profit, these will all be unpaid positions that you would be doing on your own time, out of pure love and passion for this community. Or maybe you just love entertainment and are looking for experience, that works too.
If you feel that you would be a good contributor or a solid show reviewer, please email Kiley Peters at kiley@lifesafunnyscene.com with the following by Wednesday, July 16th:
- What position(s) you are interested in.
- Why you feel you’re a good fit.
- Examples of your writing.
- Your experience/involvement in the Chicago comedy community.
- A review of the latest show you’ve seen (if interested in writing reviews).
- A few ideas of the types of content you’d like to write about.
