If you’ve ever preferred the company of your most loyal friend to a date, or paid $400 extra a month for a roommate that eats your shoes, we have a show for you. If you remember begging your parents for a puppy, we have a present for you. If you’ve ever posted or answered something that said, “Must Love Dogs,” the sketch group Read Stein Stein has your number. Your Best Friends: Dog Inspired Comedy is a show about Canines and their Humans, and how they relate to each other. People of all breeds and most ages can enjoy this sketch comedy. Rated PG 13 for butt-sniffing, poop jokes and references to animal rights issues. 30% of ticket sales will be donated to a charity devoted to dogs.
Bryce Read, Thomas Einstein and Jake Grafstein all have Boston ties, but settled in Chicago to do comedy. On one of the coldest days of the Winter of 2014, they met in a coffee shop and decided to start a sketch group. It was wicked cold.
