Comedy Throwdown
ComedySportz is known for the competitive edge it brings to improv comedy. This week, a few more comedy troupes are getting in on the game. August 7-9, ComedySportz is hosting The Comedy Theater Challenge. Top comedy theaters in the area will be competing with the ComedySportz game in a friendly improv challenge in front of a live audience.
Check out improvisers from The Annoyance, iO, Chemically Imbalanced Comedy (CIC), The Playground and pH Productions as they take on the ComedySportz crew on their home turf. The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, August 7 at 8 pm: CIC
Friday, August 8 at 8 pm: pH Productions
Saturday, August 9 at 6 pm: Sears Tower (iO)
Saturday, August 9 at 8 pm: The Playground
Saturday, August 9 at 10 pm: Fire & Beer (The Annoyance)
Shows are appropriate for all ages. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or by calling the ComedySportz box office at 773-549-8080. Prices range from $22-$24.
